Sri Lanka Library Association Fifth Anniversary at Kandy

SLLA is the professional association representing

the interests of the libraries, librarianship and 

library and information community of Sri Lanka.

It was formed in 1960 as Ceylon Library association

with the initiative of a few dedicated librarians 

and with the blessings of the Ministry of Cultural 

affairs.

 50 th anniversary was held by  Central Province Library Service Board in kandy with a Seminar on 10 th of June 2010.

All the Librarians in Central Province in Sri Lanka participated to the seminar.
